We are recruiting Support Workers for an outreach service in Hemel Hempstead.

This is a varied role where you will be enabling people we support to live independent and fulfilled lives. We provide a structured training programme and qualifications, so no experience is necessary!

We are offering you the flexibility to work on either a full-time or part-time contract to suit your lifestyle with a guaranteed number of hours per week, annual leave and other benefits.

One service in Hemel Hempstead is supporting a young gentleman in his 20s with his charity and volunteering activities. He enjoys participating in a running club, Special Olympics, marathon runs for charity, regular 5k runs and voluntary work in a café and horse stables. He is also very creative and often makes objects to sell at craft fairs, including bird boxes and candles.

This is an excellent opportunity to encourage him to be independent and to continue with his charity work. You will be working in his own home and supporting him with personal care (very independent with this, but requires reminding), meal preparation and continue to build relationships with his family. He has his own dog, so we will be looking for support staff who have a love for animals.
