Do I need experience? 

We use values based recruitment to find the best people for the job. 

All we require is a kind nature, a drive to make a positive difference and ambition to provide the best support possible. 

Do I need qualifications? 

You don't need qualifications to join us as a Support Worker. We provide all training 

We provide a full induction and training programme for all our Support Workers. This includes specialist skills to meet the needs of the people you support.

What background checks are needed? 

Usually checks include: 

  • Employment history  
  • right to work in the UK 
  • Disclosure and Barring check (DBS) – you can find out more about DBS checks here 
  • a health check – you can find out more about this here

What types of roles do you offer? 

We offer roles at a variety of different levels, such as support worker roles, managerial roles and roles in business support.

Do I need a driving license? 

Some, but not all of our roles require a driving licence. If a license is required we will state this within the vacancy details.  

What hours will I be required to work? 

This will entirely depend on the role you apply for. We aim to be as flexible as possible and offer full-time, part-time and relief positions – the hours for each role will be stated within the vacancy. 

Shift patterns vary between each service as this is managed at a local level. You can this with the line manager in your interview.

Can I still apply if I have a past conviction? 

Yes. As part of our recruitment process we will discuss with you what the conviction was for, the circumstances and when it took place. We will then complete a risk-assessment before an offer of employment is made.
