Start your day knowing you’ll make a difference - we're looking for Support Workers to join our team in Stevenage and create a positive difference that improves life for the people we support!

You will be joining our fantastic team of support workers in the Stevenage area where we currently support a young man within his own home. Your role will be to support him with daily routines that include meal preparation and domestic tasks, as well as supporting and facilitate participation in activities of his choice. 

This young man has autism and requires a support team that are patient, kind, calm and resilient. It’s likely that he will display behaviour that others may find distressing so we’re looking for support workers with previous experience of behaviours that distress, or people who are committed and willing to learn, so that we can support him in the best way possible.   

An interest in theatre, Harry Potter, Charlie and the chocolate factory or trains would be an advantage but not essential. 

Shifts may vary as we provide support during the week, at weekends and on bank holidays and are looking for people who are able to be as flexible as possible to work a range of shifts.

It is a requirement of this position that you are a driver and hold a full UK driving licence.

We recruit based on values so whilst previous experience is always welcome, it’s certainly not essential as full training will be provided.
