Support Worker

Support Worker
Full UK driving licence essential

Join Dimenisons as a Support Worker enabling people, with Learning Disabilities, who live at our Supported Living Service to enjoy an independent life.

Dimensions Support Workers do not need prior experience in Health Care Assistant or Social Care roles as full training is given.

We’re looking for some fantastic new Support Workers to join our friendly support team in the S12 area of Sheffield on a full-time basis, working 37.5 hours per week.

You will be supporting 4 people, aged between 40 and 80 who love shopping, spa days, cars, Kylie Minogue and going to the cinema. The people you will be supporting have physical and learning disabilities and are seeking patient, kind and resilient Support Workers to assist them with their personal care and domestic tasks. They like to be out and about so it’s important to them that you are able to drive, as going for long drives is one of their favourite things to do!

Shifts can vary but are usually between 7am-9pm, 7am-4pm, 1pm-9pm. We’re looking for people who are able to be as flexible as possible to work a range of these shifts during the week and over weekends, with your share of bank holidays. At Dimensions, we value a work / life balance so you will receive your rota 4 weeks in advance.

We recruit based on values so whilst previous experience is always welcome, it’s certainly not essential as full training will be provided.

If you have any queries about the role, please call Martin on 07940 267 506.
