Job overview:
This is an excellent opportunity to support a young gentleman who loves long walks, going to the cinema and meals out. He will require support with preparing meals, housework, including cleaning and laundry, developing and understanding his emotions, developing effective ways to communicate his needs, developing empathy for the needs of others, understanding relationships and learning about and understanding his health needs.
We recruit based on values, so whilst previous experience is always welcome, it’s certainly not essential as full specialist training and support will be provided. We just need to come with an open mind, shared values and an eagerness to learn.
We’re looking for people with flexibility to work shifts across weekdays, weekends and a share of the bank holidays. At Dimensions, we value a healthy work / life balance, so you will receive your rota at least 4 weeks in advance.
