Hi, my name is "John". I am in my twenties and live in my own home where I require support to live independently. I am looking for a Support Worker who can help me upkeep my home, support with finances and meal preparation and I would also require assistance with medication.
I enjoy visiting my family and friends, going to the cinema, listening to music, meals out, watching soaps and having a conversation! I would need a Support Worker who has great communication skills as i enjoy interaction. It’s ok if my support worker doesn't like all my activities, as long as you are enthusiastic to support me by doing it. You never know, you might find you enjoy it!
I generally require support Monday to Sunday, but all my staff work a variety of shifts on a rota, including every other weekend.
If you share Dimensions values, you’ll have the opportunity to meet me as it’s important we’re a good match for each other. It doesn’t matter if you haven’t worked as a Support Worker before, as Dimensions will give you paid accredited training throughout your career, plus bonus payments when you complete your qualifications - as well as a full induction, regular 1-2-1’s and annual appraisals to ensure you develop your professional skills, supporting me to live the life I choose.
