Support Worker Bracknell / Warfieldarea with a flexible approach to shift patterns.
Full-time / Part-time / Relief
£9.50 per hour.
Dimensions are one of the country’s largest not-for-profit organisations supporting people with learning difficulties, autism, behaviours of distress and complex needs and we are driven by our values. People with learning disabilities and their families are at the heart of everything we do.
This role will involve working in a lovely home in Warfield supporting six adults who have varied disabilities including epilepsy and associated behavious that can be described as behaviours of distress. The people we support require full personal care and there are some aspects of manual handling involved in the role (such as using wheelchairs). They all love to get involved in all sorts of fun activities from going bowling, to the cinema, arts and crafts, baking and much more. It is important for us that our support workers have a proactive approach to engagement and social activities, coming up with creative solutions and alternate offerings for them to take part in.
We work on a rotational shift basis and shift times will be a mixture of earlies (7:30am - 3:00pm), lates (2:30pm - 10:00pm) and every other weekend. Night shifts are also available (10:00pm - 7:30am).
