Support Worker / Care Worker 

Location: Sheffield S2

Shift Pattern: Waking Nights 8pm-8am

3 x Full time positions available

Pay £9.60 per hour

We  have an exciting opportunity for a Support Worker to join our team supporting a gentleman in his 60s with Autism. He has a great personality, a great smile, likes friendly faces and loves a nice bowl of porridge. He thoroughly enjoys journeys into the community, seeing animals and reading with support.  The person you will be supporting has a varying range of mobility and has a history of behaviours of a distressed nature.

The support we provide is person centred and due to changes in health and ability’s the support provided will be changing and developing as he does. Therefore, there is an opportunity to develop new skills and knowledge around sensory support.

You will be working as part of a team to enable him to live an enjoyable and fulfilling life.

The Role will involve

• Helping people to live the individual life they want
• Helping people learn the skills they need to live the life they choose
• Supporting people with their medication
• Supporting with personal care and Manual handling
