Join Dimensions as a Female Support Worker enabling clients with Learning Disabilities, who live at our Supported Living Service to enjoy an independent life. Dimensions Support Workers do not need prior experience in Health Care Assistant or Social Care roles as full training is given.
Dimensions is proud to be one of very few social care organisations that are members of the Great Places To Work Programme 2019.
We are four ladies who live together in a house and are supported by Dimensions.
We are all different ages, with different support needs and abilities. We are looking for people to join our team and support us in our home. Are you the person we are looking for?
We all enjoy doing different activities such as cooking, going out for meals, trips out in the car, going swimming and visiting the cinema. We need support with chores around the house and cooking meals. We also require support with personal care, dressing and use of wheelchair and hoist . We all know our community well but require 1-1 support to access it by car, so all applicants will need to have a full UK/EU driving licence to be considered. At home we require 24/7 support including a sleep in staff during the night.
If you share Dimensions values and ethos you’ll have the opportunity to meet us as it is important we’re a good match for each other. It’s ok if our Support Worker doesn't like all our activities, as long as you are enthusiastic to support us to do it. You never know, you might find you enjoy it!
Gender is considered to be a genuine occupational requirement in accordance with paragraph 1 of Schedule 9 of the Equality Act 2010.
