About the role
Dimensions is looking for caring Support Workers in Weymouth to support a gentleman in his own home. He loves doing activities, going to the shop, going for a walk, going swimming, bike riding, once things start to open back up he'll go back to going sailing and going out for lunch or dinner. Being comfortable supporting him in the water is essential. He loves helping with the housework, and being encouraged to help with the cooking.
This role includes prompting with personal care, and can present behaviours of distress when anxious or his routine is impacted.
Whether you have a background in working for NHS, School, Mental Health or as a Care Worker, this could be the job for you.
The shift pattern for this service is long days 7.30am-10pm/7.30am-10pm followed by sleep-in and alternate weekends (to be discussed at interview).
