We’re looking for fabulous people to join an existing team supporting up to 4 adult females under the age of 40 to continue to develop their independent living skills. The ladies you will be supporting have mild learning disabilities and mental health needs e.g. personality disorder and displaying behaviours of distress.
In this role you will be providing support with medication administration, finances and household tasks such as cooking, cleaning and laundry. This is in addition to supporting the ladies to engage in the activities they enjoy and encourage them to further develop their interests. The people we support go to college, love day trips, eating out, going on holidays and seeing their families! They’re active and sociable with the right support and are looking for Support Workers with a similar lifestyle to keep up with their interests and to support them through their behaviours of distress.
This team also support a lady who receives outreach support in Leeds.
Shifts often start at 10am one day and finish at 10am the following day with a sleepover shift included. There are also short days, long days and waking nights. We try to be a flexible as possible and can offer full-time or part-time options.
