The people we support are at the heart of everything we do and we currently have some fantastic opportunities available to join our team in Darlington where you can make a meaningful contribution to the lives of others. We offer fantastic benefits, training and a great team environment. We have part-time contracts available from 16/32 hours per week.
The people we support have a range of interests from watching football, films, writing, music, social events, dancing, holidays and arts and crafts to name a few. They're looking for people who are willing to get involved and show an interest in their hobbies and the activities they enjoy, and share in their enjoyment.
On a day to day basis you will be providing support with meal preparation, domestic tasks, personal care and medication administration. The people you will be supporting have their own cars to aid their independence so it's important that you're able to, and feel comfortable, driving other people's cars. You do not need your own car for this role.
Shifts can vary depending on the changing needs of the people you’re supporting but we're currently looking for people to work shifts with sleepovers. Shift patterns vary with sleepover shifts for example Sleepover shift starting @ 10am till 10am the next day and day shifts starting at 8am or 9am.
Rotas are provided at least 4 weeks in advance.
